Summary

Yuuki tries to mod the bunch of squealing fangirls away from the night class but much to her surprise, Zero appears alongside the rest of the night class. Their reunion, however, is cut short when Kaname gives Zero his evil stare. Later on in his class, Kaname asks his classmates if he can ask for a favor. Meanwhile, Yuuki tries to be perky when she meets Zero again but ends up trying too hard and pissing him off when she offers her neck. Cross then run around flailing, telling the two that Kurenai Maria has regained her consciousness. This Maria, one who is not controlled by Shizuka, thinks that Zero is Ichiru and didn't believe when Cross told her that Shizuka has perished. She, however, quickly realizes that Zero is not Ichiru and that Shizuka is deader than a doornail. Later on, Yuuki gets a visit from a vampire who wants her to show him the place where Zero is living. As it turns out the vampire council isn't happy that Zero killed a pure-blood Shizuka so they're out to punish him. The council, however, is surprised when Kaname and the other students proceed to attack him, intending on defending Zero. In front of Yuuki, however, Kaname pretends that he doesn't believe in Zero's innocence, pissing her off in return. The episode ends with Zero wanting to kiss Yuuki but decides not to at the last minute.

Impression Story
The first episode felt a bit slow to me. Maybe it's because I already know what's coming ahead but since the writers scrambled the storyline, I thought there'll be a few surprises in between. Nevertheless, it was still a nice distraction for 30 minutes. I do wonder where the 2nd season of this anime will go in terms of directions. I assume the manga is not over yet and I don't want a crappy ending made up especially for the anime. I think it's way too soon to come up with a sequel unless this one is only 13 episodes and only cover right up to that shocking plot.

Characters
I see that Kaname is still Douchebag McDouche. Sure, he protected Zero from the vampire council but I doubt he does it out of the kindness of his heart. Moreover, never at any point, he actually step up and claimed responsibility for the killing. On the other hand, he did help Zero from turning into Level E and that has to count for something I guess. It was actually kind of scary how he blasted a hole into a tree while Ichijou was making a joke about him and Yuuki having a fight. I wonder if Ichijou was just lucky that his head wasn't in front of that tree. Moving on, I wonder if this is the first time Yuuki actually worries this much about Zero. I guess, she always have that concern for him but there's something different about her attitude this time around. Zero himself starts to realize that he wants Yuuki as more than a friend although he chickens out at the last minute.

Animation/Character Design
There's nothing outstanding in terms of animation and I think the character design got worse. There are a lot of inconsistencies with the quality of the character design. With the show being shown in HD, this becomes apparent more than ever. Even the animation for the OP theme is not as impressive as the first season. At least there were some cool fight scenes and some meaningful imageries in the first one. In this one? We only have Yuuki wandering around like she's lost her mind.

Music
I really like the OP theme for some reason although just like the 1st one, I'll probably get bored of it in no time. The ED, however, is not as good as the 1st ED theme. Moreover, the animation that goes with it is not as creepy as the one that accompanied the 1st theme.

Four years have passed since the final battle between Celestial Being and the UN Forces. Humanity, having established the Earth Sphere Federation, forms an independent security preservation force, A-Laws, separate from the formal Federation army. Given un-fettered discretion, A-Laws is charged with the duty to further unify nations and enforce the will of mankind. Unknown to the general public, however, is A-Laws' misuse of power and inhumane tactics to oppress freedoms, doctrines, and ideologies in the name of 'unity'.

Saji Crossroad has followed the path to becoming a space engineer, to keep his promise to Louise Halevy. But he ends up being mistaken for a member of the dissident organization, Katharon, and unjustly imprisoned. Louise herself is compelled to become involved in Federation government reform and joined A-Laws as a mobile suit pilot during the four-year gap.

Meanwhile, Setsuna, having survived the battle with Graham Aker four years ago, has witnessed a change in the world due to the actions of Celestial Being. With the defeat of Alejandro Corner, he dreamed of a peaceful world without conflict; but before his own eyes was the reality of the continuing strain on peace, caused by the oppression of A-Laws. Setsuna tries to confront the A-Laws by himself with his battered Gundam Exia, but is easily overpowered by their newer models. He is rescued by Tieria Erde, piloting his new mobile suit, the Seravee Gundam. In the occasion, Saji discovers that Setsuna is a Gundam Meister and confronts him, just to be imprisoned at Celestial Being's base.

By combining the GN-Drives of Exia and 0 Gundam, Celestial Being's engineers manage to complete their newest mobile suit, the 00 Gundam, which was entrusted to Setsuna. To pilot the two remaining new units, Lockon Stratos' twin brother is invited to assume his position and pilot the Cherudim Gundam, and after Allelujah Haptism is rescued from the prison he was being maintained into during the timeskip, he assumes the command of Arios Gundam.

Meanwhile, to counter Celestial Being's reappearance, military personnel with experience in combat against the Gundams like pilot Soma Peries and commanding officer Kati Mannequin, are transfered to A-Laws. While both carry the determination to confront them once more, they disagree with the merciless tactics used by their new superiors.

Oblivious to Celestial Being and the A-Laws, a third party is manipulating both sides of the conflict with unknown intentions. This group call themselves "Innovators", composed of Alejandro Corner's former assistant Ribbons Almark, and his five subordinates. Their contacts include Celestial Being's agent Wang Liu Mei and Setsuna's mortal enemy, the former KPSA cell leader, Ali Al-Saachez.

Sejarah Gundam Anime Rent

Rental gundam berawal dari tahun 2001 ketika masih berupa indie label di Bandung di daerah Buah Batu, namun tahun 2002 GUNDAM mencoba membuka akses ke daerah Jatinangor dengan mempromosikan penjualan anime/tokusatsu/dorama di beberapa taman bacaan dan rental VCD Original. Usaha ini mendapatkan respon yang cukup bagus dari kalangan mahasiswa dan umum yang sangat antusias dengan anime/ tokusatsu/ j-movie. Pada bulan April 2002 Gundam indie label membuka rental anime dengan kerjasama dengan salah satu taman bacaan disamping gerbang UNPAD sebagai pemilik tempatnya dengan membuka rental anime. Karena minat meningkat dan kapasitas tempat tisak memadai, maka GUNDAM berinisiatif membuka tempat sendiri dan menarik diri dari taman bacaan tersebut. Pada bulan September 2003 GUNDAM resmi membuka outlet rental di Jatinangor dekat kampus Universitas Padjadjaran Jatinangor.
